Very nice venue. Multiple rooms made for a great experience with the ability to get the food during the cocktail hour, The atmosphere was very social and pleasant. The bar staff worked hard! I would recommend this place
My wedding was on Nov 14 2021 and Elizabeth, Mollie and Angelica were amazing. They helped me through the process of choosing vendors and any other details needed. They went above and beyond in all aspects of planning. The ballroom was excellent and I would recommend this Venue for your wedding or special event.
Where do I begin, initially everything was fine, the catering staff was excellent and ensured that our wedding day went well, they were great to work with and ensured that everything went smoothly. The issues we had were with the hotel.The hotel is severely understaffed and inefficient. During busy check-in times there was hardly anyone ever at the front desk. When there was, my guests shared that they were always met with rudeness and attitude from two different women. I was the bride staying in the Bridal suite for two nights and had the same experience! The room keys for me and all my guests kept deactivating the whole weekend. I had about 10 keys alone for the bridal suite. There is so much more I could share but let me get to the worst of it. Apparently a few of my guests checked-in and there was a mix up that occurred. I don’t know why brand new housekeeping laundry bags would be left on the front desk at a hotel. At the time of check-in my guests were offered the complementary items from another event and these bags were next to the complementary items so they mistakenly thought these laundry bags were a part of those complementary items they were offered. This happened on a Saturday, my wedding was on a Sunday and everyone checked out on Monday. Two days after we checked out of the hotel, my husband and I were still trying to enjoy this special time and we get a call from Caterina stating that these bags were taken and they saw it on camera it was one of our guests and they want it returned. We had no idea what she was talking about because my husband and I were not there for the incident so we were confused about what was going on. We also found it upsetting that we were being asked to reach out to guests of our wedding 2 days after getting married ourselves. I was sitting next to my husband when he expressed his confusion and suggested that they reach out directly to any guests to deal with the dispute. Both he and I we’re harassed with 2-3 more calls over a matter of days and then threatened by Caterina to have our credit card on file charged. When I called back, Caterina was incredibly rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. She name called my guests thieves and out right accused them of stealing these laundry bags then she threatened to file a police report for theft and was attacking my husband and I saying that we should be doing something about this incident that we had no direct involvement in. She was very hostile and incredibly nasty. It was clear by the inflammatory and pejorative language she kept using that she was trying to turn a minor mix up into a criminalizing situation. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing after spending over $20,000 with this establishment. Did you really think my guests came from out of town to steal the hotel laundry bags??? At a three star hotel no less??? As a woman of color, it was completely insulting, discriminatory, and disgusting the way I was being spoken to and the way my husband and I were being attacked. When I asked to speak with her manager she claimed that she was the “head of operations” and that there was no one above her I could speak to regarding making a formal complaint about her behavior. Denying access for guests to make a formal complaints are shady business practices and I would think long and hard about having your event here. While the catering staff was fantastic, unfortunately everything else is a total wreck and overshadowed the wonderful work of the lovely catering staff. I know the hotel’s response will claim “we are sorry to hear this and that’s not the way we remember it” but let me offer some sound advice, before offering that sad excuse of response, I suggest that you actually offer some resolve and help me file a formal complaint with corporate as well as issue a formal letter of a apology to me and my husband on behalf of your tactless unprofessional employee Caterina.
We celebrated our daughter’s sweet 16 this week @ Windsor Ballroom, it was really a very very pleasant experience all throughout, both Anjelica and Maria helped us right from the start, stepping through the details patiently with us and working to make it a wonderful experience for our family and the actual party a Big Success. Thank You both 🙌and all the staff @Windsor ballroom for making it a memorable evening for my daughter and all the guests.
I recently got married at the windsor ballroom and if I could give Anjelica and her team more than 5 stars I would. They were incredible from start to finish! Answered all questions I had for the year of planning and the day of they were even more amazing and accommodating!! Highly recommended!
