Beautiful venue. I would love to give it 5 Star but Andrea, the manager, is an absolutely awful person. Not only was she repeatedly rude to my wife, she refused to allow people to come early for hair and make up, repeatedly forgot to open the venue when we had walk throughs with vendors, would be out of contact for days at a time, and ended it all by harassing my wife over cleaning fees because she found some roses and a chapstick on the ground.

The place is run down and seems to be trading on their "historic" label. There are some nice places for a close up photo op but don't pull back. The grounds are over run with weeds, dirt piles, dead trees limbs, trashy, etc. We were bit mercilessly by mosquitos when taking pictures by the unkempt pond. We felt like we were going to school with a wedding stuck in the middle of a playground, classrooms and a baseball field. It's also on a really busy street. The cars and trucks driving by ruined the ambiance. The DJ blasted our hearing we guess to drone out the trucks. The acoustics were bad. We don't understand why no one would shut the doors even though several guests asked for them to be closed. Yes, the Villa was pretty. Food was OK. We hope the bride didn't pay too much. If you have lot's of booze you can be made to forget the afore mentioned.

This is a very historic place, and it's very lovely architecture and garden. The only problem is that they don't have AC in the building; therefore, when I attended the wedding in July 100 degree heat at 3pm in the afternoon, I almost melted in the way of the wicked witch of the East! "I'm meeting! I'm melting!" Besides the heat factor, the place was very charming and the staff was fantastic, especially Sean, the wedding coordinator. He gets 2 thumbs up! So don't plan an event here in the summer season.

I got married at this place and I would recommend it to anyone. This day is one of the most memorable days of my life and it was made all the more special by the beauty of this location and the carefree environment that was provided by the staff. Not to mention some of the best food you could want. Plus delicious cake! If it’s in your price range make it happen. Make your special day feel like a scene out of a movie.
