The most AMAZING experience ever. The space, the gorgeous selection of gowns and the service were all top notch from start to finish. I purchased a made-to-measure gown and just had my first fitting, and when I tell you the gown fit perfectly, I mean no alterations except a bustle perfect. My consultant Sammie was so kind and knowledgeable and really helped me pick the perfect dress. She also advised me to give myself extra time to order the gown which turned out to be great advice. I know there are a lot of places to buy wedding gowns these days, but having a shop that knows their stuff and values customer service is priceless.

I truly can't say enough great things about my experience with Marina Morrison!
I came into the wedding dress buying process with an idea of what I wanted, however I still wanted to try on a range of different types of dresses to be sure. The store has a diverse selection, from classic to trendy. The staff at Marina Morrison took plenty of time and care getting me into varying styles. It was tough to decide, but Sammie was awesome at talking me through each option--and more importantly, what made sense for my personal aesthetic. The week after I chose my dress, I had second thoughts and called the store to see if they could pause my order so I could try on one of the other contenders. Sammie accommodated me the next day with no problem. In the end, I stuck with my first choice dress. But it meant so much to me to get peace of mind.
A couple months later, the designer of my dress was having a trunk show at Marina Morrison. They called me to see if I wanted schedule time to look at finishing touches. They really helped complete my wedding day look, helping me choose a gorgeous veil, pulling jewelry in to accessorize, having me walk around the store with the full outfit on, etc. The total effect is stunning!
Needless to say I am so happy with my purchase and would recommend any bride-to-be get her dress here. I am so excited to wear it!

This place is absolutely horrible. They fat shamed my best friend who is a size 8, also known as the average size in America. Trying on wedding dresses is supposed to be when you feel the most beautiful in your entire life, you should be crying because the bride is so beautiful not crying because they make you feel awful. No one should not go here, it's a horrible experience, I hope they really re evaluate their principles.

Nice place, but not as much of a selection compared to some of the other places I’ve visited since. While my stylist was lovely, she put me in a Lihi Hod dress that was $3000 above my budget, after reassuring me it was within my $ number as we pulled it out. Go figure, I fell in love with that dress when I tried it on and she apologetically corrects me a few minutes after I’m basking in the glory that is this dress. I obviously left with a heavy heart.

I had the best experience with Kate at Marina Morrison. I was lucky enough to get an appointment for a Lihi Hod trunk show and tired on so many beautiful dresses. Kate was a lot of fun and more importantly professional. She helped me pick out dresses based on my budget and style and was really helpful in getting me in the dresses and pinning them just right so that I could see how the dress might look the day of if I were to buy it. My experience was top notch, so much so that it put some other bridal salons in SF to shame that I also went to. Honestly, Marina Morrison is a world class establishment, of course there's stipulations such as the need to put 50% down on a dress, no refunds, etc., but you have to remember this is a business and they need to do this to protect themselves. My advice to Brides, relax and breathe your day is going to be lovely no matter what. Listen to your inside voice, it's powerful and knows you better than your mom, sister or friend. Their intentions are well meaning, but everyone has their own style and opinions so trust your instinct and be that confident woman we all know you are. If you're not sure about a dress, don't select one until you know for sure and trust me you'll know! Some verbally let out a cry, which is beautiful, I almost cried for another girl at how touching it was when she said yes to the dress, some are very ho hum and quiet (I fall into this category.) Which ever girl/woman you are, you'll know when the dress is right. I didn't select a dress until a tried a few other places and that entire day / night I kept thinking about this one Lihi Hod dress that I tried on in a whim. I called Marina Morrison that night and asked for another appointment (Kate let me know before I left my first one that there were a few open.) The next morning I had a call from Kate that they could get me in. I went and tried on my top 2 and ended up with the dress that I couldn't get off my mind. It was the best decision as I knew it was my decision. I had so many compliments and so many, "That dress is unreal and out of this world with how pretty it is." I highly recommend Marina Morrison and I thank them for the positive, lovely experience of dress buying!
