I still can't fully comprehend how perfect our wedding cake was. I work for a specialty food company, so I'm a huge foodie and wanted a wedding with excellent food and dessert. Carmela and Brandon (owners) alleviated all anxiety and delivered a cake beyond amazing.
We had the Dear Dublin flavor which was super moist and flavorful. I'm marrying into an Irish family, so everyone approved of our flavor choice!
I had my wedding at a unique venue (operating hard cider mill) and the cold room that I originally wanted to display the cake in was full of cider. I immediately contacted Carmela who responded within minutes assuring me that they would find a good place for it. They sure did! It was out of the way but still on display for all to see.
The process to create the cake was fun- Carmela asked to see a picture of my dress, bouquet, and centerpieces. She created the most beautiful sugar flowers that several of my guests asked if they were real...and when I told them they were sugar, they couldn't believe it.
Our first dinner as a married couple was apple cider donuts and a slice of leftover cake!! I will always remember that cake and I'm excited to eat another slice on our 1 year anniversary! Thank you so much Loveletter Cakeshop!

I have tried two flavors: the Upon A Midnight Pillow and the Dear Dublin.
Let me start with the Upon A Midnight Pillow. I fell in love with this cake from the very first bite. It seriously tastes like a slice of heaven. My favorite part were the crispy chocolate pearls. It adds an extra crunch that I love. I was a little worried that it might be too sweet because a lot of times when I order a cake from other bakeries that had dark chocolate ganache it usually comes out too sweet. But that was not the case at all with the Upon A Midnight Pillow from Loveletter Cakeshop. To those chocolate lovers out there, definitely order this cake. It has instantly become one of my favorites.
I have also tried their Dear Dublin flavor and what I really liked about this cake is that you could taste the alcohol but it wasn't over-powering at all. The flavors were infused together really well and it came out being such a delicious cake. Definitely a must-try.
I am very excited to order more flavors from Loveletter Cakeshop.

I contacted Loveletter for my wedding cake. Carmela was so nice and friendly. She answered all of our questions and concerns. We attended a cake tasting which was delicious! They have some amazing flavors, we chose Honeymoon in Cancun. The flavors are tropical and they complement each other perfectly. Overall we had a great experience with Loveletter and recommend everyone to try them out. We will be doing business in the future.

Loveletter provided the cake for my wedding on Oct 10, 2015.
Let me begin with the most important aspect when it comes to any food product reviews: the cake was freakin' delicious. There were so many flavors to choose from when we were initially trying out all the different cakes. Loveletter has a wide variety that's sure to suit anyone's fancy. Legitimately, all their flavors are delicious, but you'll find the one that you definitely will want to serve en masse to your guests. Their flavor is dynamite, with the right balance of cake, icing, and whatever additions may be available (because I've got a pet peeve about the overabundance of frosting and icing when it comes to cakes these days).
Presentation for my cake... so damn beautiful. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the design that Loveletter adorned our cake with. It was magical, elegant, appetizing... I can spend the whole review writing superlatives, but that wouldn't be too helpful anymore, would it?
Also, one thing that Loveletter possesses that I feel that all the successful cake vendors should, is the artistic and creative vision. The cake they provided for my wedding was not drawn by me nor my wife. All they asked for from us, and we were of course happy to oblige, was inspirational material. What was my wife's wedding dress... our invitations... the general description of the look and feel of our wedding... with all these inspirations in mind, they blew us away with a pleasant surprise of a cake that served as the centerpiece to the entire event.
Book them if you want your cake to be unforgettable.

I rarely write reviews about my online finds but Loveletter deserves to be acclaimed. I knew they specialize in wedding cakes but just figured maybe I could try ordering for two of my events and luckily they were very accommodating. I’ve ordered 2x from Loveletter, (1) for my son’s birthday party and (2) for my daughter’s baptism. I’ve ordered the Dulce De Leche and Red Velvet Cakes respectively on separate occasions. The Dulce De Leche was so rich but not painfully sweet. I loved that the vanilla bean cake that goes with the Dulce De Leche was so moist and dense. I was so satisfied with that order that I couldn’t help but try the Red Velvet cake for my daughter’s baptism. I am telling you, they have the best Red Velvet cake I have ever tasted, even better than Cake Man Raven. The cream cheese buttercream was just heavenly. Their cakes are sinfully indulgent and reasonably priced – you get what you pay for and you won't be disappointed.
I was truly happy with all my orders and they will work with you. Loveletter always went above and beyond my requests.
