The Graces Loves Lace showroom is truly the quintessential bridal shop. When you imagine your perfect wedding dress shopping experience, Grace Loves Lace meets those expectations and so much more!!
The showroom itself is stunning. While it's a relatively open area, we still felt like we were the only people there. That could have been because of our INCREDIBLE stylist, Laura, who made us all feel so comfortable, welcome, and excited. Not only did she perfectly understand and empower my wedding vision, she also reminded me to stop and enjoy the moment.
Laura helped me find some unbelievably stunning (and comfortable) gowns, plus she helped us all enjoy the experience more than we could have expected!

I cannot express enough what a lovely experience we had here! Our consultant Laura was knowledgeable, attentive, and really made the dress shopping process stress free. Every dress our bride tried on was beautiful and excellent quality. I honestly didn't know how she would possibly choose until she found "the one", and it is true what they say, when you know- you know. The space at Grace Loves Lace is gorgeously styled and so comfortable for both the bride and her guests. If the ambiance is a 10/10 the staff is a 20/10. Laura was so genuine and pulled excellent dress options fitted exactly to the brides taste, it was like shopping with your bestie! I cannot recommend this place, or our awesome consultant, enough!

Laura is a dream to work with! I visited GLL Chicago first thing in the morning on a weekday to begin my dress search. Street parking is a breeze and the location is beautiful. I was the only 9am appointment, so my one guest and I had the boutique to ourselves. Laura met us at the door and was so kind and easy to work with. We were offered drinks at the beginning of the appointment and Laura then took my measurements. She gave me lots of personal expertise on bustling and sizing for the gowns and I was able to try on 5 during my appointment, plus one from their newest collection. The gowns in the store are letter-sized (XS, XL, etc.) and they don’t use clips during the try-on at any GLL, so it takes a bit of imagination to visualize how a gown will look tailored to you. The showroom was bright and clean, and the dresses I tried on were spotless. Laura made me feel heard every step of the way, never made me feel pressured or rushed, and asked great questions about what I liked/disliked about each gown I tried on and how I felt wearing them. The main thing that differentiates GLL from other bridal brands is the made-to-order sizing built into the price and how amazingly comfortable the dresses are! If comfort is a priority for you, look no further, and I hope you’re lucky enough to meet Laura during your visit. It was a great first try-on experience.

I recently had my first dress appointment here at Grace Loves Lace and I could not have been more happy with my experience. Not only do I *think* I've found 'the one', I had an amazing time while doing so. Stephanie treated my guests and I with the utmost grace, respect, and expertise throughout the whole experience. As the bride, I felt so comfortable and taken care of while still being given such a fun time with my guests. All of this is an added bonus to the fact that their dresses are stunning! I would highly recommend 'Grace Loves Lace' for every bride to be!

Be cautious when buying from here and ordering a made to measure gown!!! My issue is not with the Chicago showroom but with the production of the gown and corporate. I ordered a made to measure Clo gown. This supposed to reduce the amount of alterations that you will need overall for a closer fit. When I received my dress (late) it was terrible. The lace was overall WAY to big and the ruching was massive making the overall look saggy and unappealing...not even close to what I tried on at the showroom. I ended up needing $650 of additional alterations. My tailor was in awe at how poorly it was put together. After alot of back and forth fighting they only agreed to pay for the ruching and nothing else. I needed the dress taken in so much that it was too short and you could see my feet. I spent my entire wedding day pulling it down for pictures. I was gaslighted by the company with them telling me I did not understand what made to order means and that I needed the alterations anyway. I understood when I bought it that it would not be custom but the stretched out standard size fit me much better, I would have been better off buying that. I did not feel that they cared in the slightest the extra stress that it caused me scrambling to fix it a little over a month before my wedding. And I am far from the only bride who has had this problem with them. I was part of a Grace Loves Lace Bride facebook page and the amount of horror stories I read after my purchase was very upsetting especially for the amount that you pay for the gown. Very disappointing. Thank goodness for a good tailor or else I would have had to scramble for a new dress.
My experience in the Chicago showroom was great and Monica was amazing and patient. I did not feel that she was pushing for a sale but it seemed that she really wanted to make sure I was happy in my dress. I do not want this reflecting poorly on her.
The first two pictures are from the showroom and the last is what i received. And mind you one of the dresses from the showroom was one size too big and it still fit better than my final dress. Very disappointing.
