Mac and the entire Comparti team were amazing to work with! My wife and I were incredibly grateful that they worked with us to craft a food and bar menu that represented us and our cultures so well. Food was a very important component of our wedding and we are very happy with how everything turned out. Highly recommend this extremely professional and outstanding team for any event!
We worked with Comparti for our wedding in Sept 2022 in NYC. Mac, Melissa, and Andrew were wonderful to work with. From the beginning through the end, Comparti was professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and organized. On the day of our wedding, everything ran smoothly. The team took care of us and all of our guests. Comparti knows what they are doing and they are who you want to work with for a big occasion. We can't thank the team enough and we highly recommend them. Our guests' favorites were the malbec braised short rib and tuna tostadas. I'd highly recommend doing a tasting!
The Comparti team catered our wedding weekend in early October 2022. We spent time working with them to design the perfect menu for our rehearsal dinner, cocktail hour & wedding reception, and post-wedding brunch. Our guests were blown away by the quality of the food, and so were we! If you’re in the city, be sure to visit Comodo in Manhattan and Colonia Verde in Brooklyn, you will not be disappointed!
More than one person at our wedding told us the dinner was the best event meal they had ever had – including friends in the food and wine industry. Comparti helped us to realize every one of our hopes and dreams for the food, drinks and service at our wedding. For both me and my husband, food was the most important element of planning the night. We wanted a cocktail party with stations or a floating dinner that felt both special and unfussy. We wanted to make sure no one left hungry, including guests with dietary restrictions. Melissa at Comparti became the project manager to all of those high hopes. She organized a tasting at their lovely tasting room, helped us select the furniture, dishes and cutlery to match the desired mood, and helped us design a floorplan that accommodated the easy flow of drinks and hors d’oeuvres and easy access to stations. Felipe, our friend and chef reviewed our selected menu and added personal touches to tie it all together. Tamy, our friend and sommelier helped us pick wines that would impress the French cousins without breaking the bank. Led by Melissa, the on-site team exuded class and professionalism. I cannot recommend Comparti enough – they provide the complete opposite of what previously sprung to mind when I heard the term “wedding caterers.”
We truly cannot say enough GREAT things about Comparti! They catered our wedding at 501 Union in January, and they did a fantastic job! Not only was Melissa and the rest of her team incredible to work with, but most importantly the food was delicious!! We received so many compliments during and after the wedding. My Uncle told me the salmon was the best he’s had in his life (wow!) and we had many guests rave about how unique and wonderful the food as well as the service was. From the first time we met Melissa for our tasting, we knew that Comparti was who we wanted to go with. The knowledge that she brought to the table about the food, venue, set up, and rentals was extremely helpful. We had a last minute venue change and needed to pivot our plan of having a seated dinner to stations, and she helped us navigate that change with ease. We would recommend Comparti to everyone, and would specifically highlight their unique and fun approach to wedding food and presentation.
