What an amazing bridal store, wonderful experience! I had tried on more than 50 dresses prior to coming to And Something Blue and was so happy to find such a perfect, gorgeous dress! My dress was new from Helen Miller and I didn't even realize I was working with her at first - such a cool experience to get a dress right from the designer. The store is clean, comfortable, and a very nice size (intimate, but lots of options). The whole process was smooth and enjoyable start to finish, highly recommend!

White's not my color, but that can be a problem when it comes to wedding dresses. Luckily, Helen Miller at And Something Blue was willing to work with me to design an absolutely stunning navy-and-white dress that turned out better than anything I had ever imagined. The dress was gorgeous, fit amazingly with minimal alterations, and was comfortable enough to wear all night. The buying process was great, Helen was communicative and responsive, and the dress was done with plenty of time to spare. Could not recommend higher!

From our first appointments to view and try on dresses through the dress selection, alterations and even post-wedding processes, my (now) wife and I had such a wonderful experience working with Helen and Irina at And Something Blue!
First off, they have a surprisingly robust selection given the size of the storefront itself and quite a diverse array of styles and cuts, which was wonderful. At a few of the other boutiques in the city we found that they tended to have a handful of set cuts/styles and they'd just customize colors/materials, but at And Something Blue they truly had a variety, which is especially helpful when you want to try everything and see what tends to look best on your form.
Ultimately I bought a dress here and my wife ended buying hers at a different store outside the city. However, notwithstanding the fact that my wife bought her dress at a different store, we were BOTH able to get our alterations done at At Something Blue and they did a wonderful job on both dresses.
Helen and Irina were the perfect combination of supportive and honest when it came to picking the right dress. Definitely not a place where I felt they were going to tell me I looked pretty in something just for the sake of making a sale. They take a lot of pride in what they do and wanting their brides to look 100% on their special day and that translates into candid feedback during both the dress selection and alterations processes. We both really appreciated that.
Lastly, but worth noting, they also had recommendations when it came to dress cleaning/preservation services and were able to connect us with a local company that specializes in wedding dress cleaning/preservation that even does pickup if you live within certain parts of the Bay Area, which was especially clutch for us during COVID era and since we don't have a car.
Would 100% recommend this store to any bride in the market for a wedding dress in the Bay Area! (Note Photo Credit: @simone_anne_photography)

I had such a wonderful experience with And Something Blue! I found the perfect skirt while shopping at the store, and they tailored a top just for me that was perfect to complete the look. Everything fit beautifully, and I was so happy working with Irina and Helen- they really took the time to make sure everything was exactly right.

I absolutely loved working with And Something Blue! They were so good at reading my body language to figure out what I felt comfortable in, which was key since I didn't consciously know what I wanted. They saw that I wasn't connecting with the column gowns I had thought I wanted, and got me to try the A-line gown that I ended up picking, noting how much I brightened up when I put the first one on. The same went for alterations - they observed how I was fidgeting with the straps and used that to inform the changes they made to the straps. I had gone to at least a half dozen bridal stores prior and been increasingly stressed and pessimistic about the process of finding a dress, but And Something Blue completely turned my attitude around. They created a warm, welcoming, intimate, relaxed setting. They gave me space and privacy when I needed it, and never rushed me. I brought my mother and/or maid of honor to all my appointments and genuinely looked forward to each of them. On the day of my wedding, one of the most common compliments I got was that my dress was "so me", and I attribute that to the way And Something Blue was so quickly and expertly able to understand me.
