While our work has an organic quality, our aesthetic is always filtered through our clients’ visions. We are not a firm that imposes our designs on you, but one that takes pride our ability to listen as much as our ability to create. The first part of our job is to hear and translate our clients’ wishes – for their weddings, their brands, their rooftops – into the language of plants and flowers. The second part of our job is to take their visions, and bring them to life, using our expertise to choose the best, seasonal flowers for your event, or, with gardens, to choose the “right plant for the right site.”

Just the most gorgeous floral designs I could ever even dream of. Alex is such a PLEASURE to work with and is sooo insanely talented. I trusted her inherently and I'm so glad I did - her attention to detail and color is off the charts. Stop looking now, Alex is the best of the best!
Don't go anywhere else for flowers. Alexandra is a kind of wedding whisperer. She listened carefully to the sophisticated style and mood I wanted to set at my wedding and put together a gorgeous proposal that essentially channeled my wishes. When we met in her studio, it was clear she had thought hard about the place where I was going to get married, and how to make it more beautiful. At the wedding, lots of people commented on my dress. But more of them commented on the flowers, including the ones Alexandra arranged for my hair. Thank you, forever, Alexandra.
When planning our wedding we had no idea how to talk about flowers. But during our first phone call with Alex, she took time to listen to our half-baked idea and proved herself to be a fantastic creative collaborator through the entire process of designing and executing our floral arrangements. We wanted something simple yet unconventional, and romantic but not frilly and she just nailed it. When we talked about our fall beach wedding and our interest in dry flowers, she described a table scape as “a walk in the dunes”, which totally captured our imagination. She’s got a great eye for making arrangements that look both organic and artful. On the day of our wedding, I woke up to find Alex and her team putting together the table scapes. And they were such perfect manifestations of our conversations that, embarrassingly, I burst into tears. Alex also went above-and-beyond to make sure our chuppah didn’t blow away on the beach. We feel so lucky to have been able to work with her and hope to find ways to do it again in the future.
We have had a weekend home in the Catskills for the past ten years, deep in the woods. We treasure the peace and quiet, and use the home as an escape from NYC. One thing we regretted about building in the woods was clearing the land; we had cleared just a little too much. We felt we needed to repair this damage, and blend the home back into the nature it sat among. But how were we to accomplish this? There were no guarantees that we would be there every weekend to tend to any installation. Plus, any plantings would be at the mercy of the forest wildlife. We clearly needed someone to help us in both knowledge and design. This is where found Alex Abuza so incredibly helpful. She immediately understood our dilemma and patiently listened to what we were trying to create. She explained she would need a few days to put something together to us, and delivered by the agreed upon deadline. Her first draft plan was very close to what we had imagined, and together we reached a final plan quickly. She called for different plantings around the house to take advantage of sun/shade, space/lack of space, and distance to the house. More so, all the plantings had been picked for their resistance to wildlife. Lastly, her plan met our need for low maintenance by using heartier plants that could manage with sporadic watering, and lack of sun. While our first choice was for Alex to handle the installation, we agreed that our weekend home was a little too far for her to be going back and forth. So she worked with our contractor over the phone and by email to share and explain her plans. And we are still delighted with the results.
